fellas showcasing life with a stoma

Recently a story of the young man in Barnsley who opted to end his life has been reported on in a the media, sadly he didnt want to live a life with a stoma.

This has caused quite a debate throughout the ostomy world from many places and not just here in the UK.

At stoma heroes we don’t want anybody to ever feel like a stoma is the end, in fact it’s the beginning of change and i know that your life has just started.

I was asked to join these fantastic fellow male ostomates to show that after having a stoma you can lead a fantastic life, I was humbled to of been asked and felt proud to have been involved.

On the back of the @bbcnews story of the young man in Barnsley who opted to end his life, rather than living with a stoma, I've got together with some amazing #stomamales to showcase how great stoma life can be? . I dont want any person to ever feel like a stoma is the end, in fact it's the beginning. This stoma changed my life and gave me my life back! I couldnt be happier with my bag life and these guys feel the same! . I also want more men to be able to talk about their stomas, feel body confident and be able to talk about how they feel, rather than become depressed and saddened by the prospect of living with a stoma? . Give these amazing guys a follow!! ?? . #crohns #colitis #bodypositivity #confidence #body #stoma #fitness #gym #brave #mindset #power #life #mentalhealth #health #change #proud #ileostomy #ibd #men #fashion #positivequotes #nhs #motivation
